The Resort
Morena is the ECO Resort on Curaçao and therefore a unique location for anyone who wants to experience the ultimate holiday feeling with comfort and luxury, but still wants to deal sustainably with the environment. For us, people and nature are both central and that makes it a Resort of which we are proud.
In total there are 99 apartments and villas, from 1-bedroom apartments suitable for couples to 4-bedroom villas suitable for large families up to 8 people. For everything in between, there are also our 2- and 3-bedroom apartments and villas. All types have spacious terraces where our resort can be called unique. This way you can fully enjoy the outdoor life in the middle of nature.
At the resort there are 2 areas with swimming pools, the 'Family Pool' consists of a large pool with a paddling pool next to it, ideal for families with young children. The 'Nature Pool' has 2 swimming pools. All are ECO baths which are ideal for skin, hair, eyes and ears. Both places have plenty of sunbeds, cabanas and shade. Are you curious about how this looks? The resort is car-free, cars can be parked in the secure car park in front of the reception. At the resort you can use carts, which are also available for a trip to the beach (great for the children)!

Eco
For years in a row we have proudly received golden awards for "The Green Key", Travelife and "Green Globe", three internationally recognized environmental labels. In our stylish villas and apartments that are fully equipped, comfort and sustainability go hand in hand. For the construction of our Resort, sustainable, environmentally friendly materials from fair trade cooperatives in the region were deliberately used and all kinds of environmentally friendly techniques were applied. For example, every apartment / villa has a solar water heater on the roof, which provides hot water all day with only a few hours of sunshine.
Location
Morena Resort is located in Jan Thiel, a safe tourist area, adjacent to the nature reserve “De Zoutpannen”. The resort is wonderfully quiet, but within 5 minutes walking distance from the bustling Jan Thiel beach there are good restaurants, shops and beach bars for the necessary entertainment. Do not forget the happy hour on Saturday at Zanzibar! There is also no lack of a supermarket, 'Van den Tweel' (AH) is also within walking distance.
PS. The entrance to the beach is free for our guests!
