Practical information


You can conveniently book a transfer through Morena Resort. A one-way transfer is priced at $50 for a maximum of 5 people per ride, with each additional person costing $12.50. Opting for a round trip will cost $100 for a maximum of 5 people, and each additional person will be charged $25. We are more than happy to arrange the transfer for you, and the payment can be settled during check-out. Kindly note that the transfer is on a shared basis, and there may be other Morena Resort guests traveling in the same vehicle. To book the transfer, we kindly ask for your flight number and arrival time, so our driver can be prepared.


Your apartment or villa will be cleaned once every 3 days, including change of linnen and towels. If you wish to receive fresh towels in between you can change them at the reception. 


Check-in is available from 4PM. If you would like to check-in earlier, please contact our reservation department and we will be happy to explore the possibilities for you. 

The check-out time is 11AM. If you would like to have a late check-out, we can assess the possibility one day prior to your departure. Additional charges of USD 10 per extra hour will apply.


There is a safe in each apartment and villa for your valuables.


All expenses and orders incurred during your stay will be charged to your account, which can be settled at the time of check-out. Please note that we do not accept cash payments. You can conveniently keep track of your account details at any time through your My Morena account.


Upon your arrival, you will find a beach towel provided for each guest in your apartment or villa. If you wish to change the towels during your stay, please visit the reception. As part of our commitment to eco-friendly practices, we provide one towel per guest per day.


Please note that we do not accept cash payments at the resort. 


Pets are not allowed inside the resort.


All our guests receive a beach pass at check-in that will provide free entrance to the Jan Thiel Beach area.
(In case you loose this pass and need a new one, we charge you the costs).


All apartments and villas are equipped with a large refrigerator, stove, combi-microwave, espresso machine, dishwasher, pots and pand, fan, hairdryer, ironing board and iron, basically everything you will need.


Within walking distance in Jan Thiel, there is a supermarket (AH/Van den Tweel) that is open 7 days a week from 8am to 8pm. If you wish to have some groceries at your accommodation upon arrival, you can order them through 'de Boodschappenman'. (Please note that this service is arranged directly with De Boodschappenman and is independent of our services.)FF. 


All bedrooms offer airconditioning. All living rooms are equipped with a standing fan, providing the necessary cooling.


All bedrooms have a hook above the bed where a mosquito net can be hung. These nets are also available for purchase/rent at the reception. However, we recommend keeping the bedroom doors closed to prevent mosquitoes from entering.

We advise you to bring a repellent, otherwise you can also buy it at our reception.


The resort is car-free. There is a free parking area at the reception that is guarded during the evening and night, where you can park your car. Bolder carts are available on the premises, which can be used to transport groceries to your accommodation or simply for the enjoyment of children!


All our swimming pools are equipped with a salt electrolysis system. This ensures that the pool water is always in optimal condition. Because the system converts salt into small amounts of chlorine, the water is much more pleasant for the skin, eyes, hair, and nose. The water does not taste salty.


For the washing of your clothes, we collaborate with a reliable laundry service. The rate for clothes that can be dried in a dryer is $5.00 per kilogram. For clothes that cannot be dried in a dryer, the rate is $6.00 per kilogram and it takes two days due to hanging. A transportation fee of $3.50 is added. We kindly ask you to provide the laundry in a sealed bag at our front office by 12:00 PM. In most cases, it will be delivered back to us the next day, and we will inform you via WhatsApp and charge the costs to your room. Please note that the laundry service is closed on Sundays.
